Here are 5 suggestions for having a successful photo shoot!

1. Clean kids= Prettier pics - try your best to get the hair clean and the nose and face washed! This goes for the newborns too though their boogers are way cuter.  (good luck)

2. Natural setting= Natural colored clothing - if we are headed outside (which we most likely are) aim for natural colors you might find in the environment that we will be shooting in. If our location is more industrial like a city backdrop, you may want to amp up the color factor a bit more. 

​

3. Ladies and Mamas= Wear Plenty of Makeup - even if makeup is not your thing, aim to darken all of your features so that your eyes lips and cheeks are noticeable from a distance, now is the time for the dark brows and lashes, and the blush and the lipstick too!

4. Dressing up= Always a Good Idea - go for fabrics that feel dressier, choose woven materials over knits (t-shirt material). Men: you always look great in a button up shirt with rolled up sleeves, or put on a sport coat and you'll feel and look even better. Consult your favorite clothing Web sites for inspiration.

5. Big Emotion= Beautiful Results - get face to face with your children or loved one, have a real moment with them and let me capture the beauty that unfolds.
